Te Ano is one famous traditional game in Tuvalu where two teams line up and facing one another and competition begins with one member throwing the heavy small ball toward the other team, who must hit it back with their hands. Points are scored if the opposite team lets the ball falls and the first team to reach 10 points. The points will get from the weak players where the balls always give to them and they are also their main target. The matches can be dangerous because the small ball that we used to play with is very hard and heavy. So we really need to be very careful. If the game finish, the winning team will sing a fatele and dance, while the loose team need to sit down and watch the winning team which they sing and dance the fatele.
